For Ski-Doo owners in Toronto, secure storage units help free up space in your garage while keeping your snowmobile out of the weather and rust free year-round.
According to the Canadian Press, Ski-Doo, the Quebec-based manufacturer of personal watercraft, snowmobiles and off-road vehicles claims its initial public offering will bolster its value to an estimated $2.5 billion. The offering is expected to raise more than $300 million if underwriters add an additional 1.8 million shares to the initial 12.2 million voting shares. The company says much of the money generated by the IPO will go toward repaying debt.
Currently owned by a subsidiary of Bain Capital, Ski-Doo is optimistic about future prospects, citing its push into international markets and an expansion to its new line of products. As the economic environment improves in Canada with a slow but steady housing recovery, Canadians opting for a local vacation this winter may break out their snowmobiles for a little fun.
