What to do with all your pet’s stuff

Most pet owners take pride in having all of the supplies their dogs or cats need to ensure they're comfortable and content. Over the years, many owners will purchase countless items for their pups or kittens ranging from dog beds and cat perches to pet food, bowls and toys. Finding storage for all of these items can be hard, however Better Homes and Gardens recently gave advice for keeping such supplies out of the way.

According to the magazine, owners might want to invest in a large armoire or clean out some closet space to keep Fido's items contained. Not only can this make your current living situation easier, it might also help keep the dog stress-free as well.

Storing a pet's food in air-tight containers will help keep the expensive kibble fresh for longer and might help keep rodents or other scavengers out. Try storing the food in the kitchen and make sure to take the animal's dish away as soon as its done eating to reduce insect or other undesired infestations.

Sometimes, owners will realize their dogs or cats simply have too many supplies. This realization might come after a new baby arrives or if a family has to move. Keeping unnecessary pet items in affordable self storage in Toronto, or anywhere else, might be helpful during these times. Here, owners can safely store their pets expensive stuff and get it out of the way.

Moneyville reports that people trying to sell their homes need to "depersonalize" their houses, meaning removing all decorations, trinkets or cluttered pet supplies to make the space more appealing to all potential buyers.
