MGM Resorts recently announced it will be building a new casino in Toronto that is estimated to cost the corporation up to $4 billion. According to the Toronto Sun, MGM pitched the idea on March 6, expressing the hope the new facility would improve the city's economy as well as add thousands of jobs for individuals in the area. During the proposal, Allan Feldman, the vice president of MGM, promised to generate about 10,000 union jobs as well as 5,000 construction jobs through the project, CBC News reported.
Since Toronto's economy is struggling, there have been a lot of consumers and business owners who have had to downsize their homes or office buildings. If this is the case, renting a Toronto document or self storage space would be ideal.
In addition to the new jobs, MGM officials hope the casino, which is expected to be constructed on the grounds of Exhibition Place, will provide a reason to expand Toronto's current transit network, according to CBC News.
Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
