A new Canadian association is championing small business and entrepreneurship across the country, with a massive national tour that hopes to bring together small business owners from all over Canada.
Startup Canada is currently touring across the country, putting on presentations and engaging with business owners, reports The Financial Post. The idea is to garner feedback about what startup companies and small businesses are looking for to help them succeed, and to trade tips and ideas among people in similar situations.
The six-month tour began in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on March 19th. Attendees discussed ways that small businesses could collaborate together for the betterment of all. The goal is to create an "entrepreneurial culture" that will tie small companies together.
One issue that many start-up companies may encounter is physical space. Renting out an office can be very expensive, and this is a cost that many budding companies struggle to come up with. One option to look into is small business storage. There are many Toronto storage solutions that are affordable for those starting a business. These containers give business owners a place to store their valuable materials without breaking the bank to do so.
