Rankings on the quality of some of the world's finest institutes of higher learning are out and the University of Toronto is among them.
According to Newsweek's College Rankings Report 2011 edition, the University of Toronto is one of the top three schools in the world outside of the United States. The University of Cambridge and University of Oxford were the only institutions with a higher ranking.
The U of T wasn't the only Canadian university to be credited with a prestigious distinction. The University of British Columbia, McGill University and McMaster University were also mentioned in what Newsweek called "the best halls of higher learning outside America's borders."
However, the U of T was rated higher than fellow Canadian schools in other publications' assessments as well. According to the QS World University Rankings, U of T finished first for Canadian universities in arts and humanities; natural sciences; life sciences and biomedicine; engineering and information technology and social sciences.
With classes now in session, many Canadian parents may be wondering what to do with the things their college kids left at home. They may want to consider renting out a storage unit to help protect their kids' belongings, which can help free up living space at the same time.
