At Jiffy Self-Storage, we put a premium on making sure our renters’ belongings are secure. And we do it to avoid what happened to the tenants of two storage unit facilities in the U.S.
According to the Gaylord Herald Times, 60 storage units were broken into by thieves on August 10 in Gaylord, Michigan.
In an interview with the paper, Joe FitzGerald, the town’s police chief, said he and his fellow officers have been trying to get in touch with the owners of the units to get an idea of what’s been stolen.
Robert Krupa, a state trooper investigating the break-in of a separate storage facility, told the source jewelry and a Moped had been taken from one of the units.
Officers believe the thefts were likely perpetrated by the same group of subjects, according to the source.
Theft prevention is something Jiffy Self Storage specializes in. Because access to the storage units are computer controlled, unauthorized individuals can’t obtain entry. This assurance is part of the reason why our customers are so satisfied with our services.
