Forty people recently had to evacuate a Toronto apartment complex after a fire ravaged the interior. According to the Toronto Star, Toronto fire's Rapid Intervention Team was called to the five-story building on March 20. There were no injuries reported; however, one pregnant woman did choose to go to the hospital on her own.

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Association, resident Elizabeth Baker said she wasn't concerned about the contents of her home, but was worried about her cat's safety.
