A recent poll shows that most Toronto residents actually want to shop on the holidays.
Toronto self storage is available for those looking to store seasonal items, like Christmas decorations, when the holiday ends and valuables clutter up a home.
According to a Forum Research survey, 47 percent of Toronto residents are in favor of businesses being open on holidays, 38 percent disagreed with them. The survey did indicate, however, that 61 percent of respondents disagreed with shopping being available 24/7.
“While we see ourselves as a world-class city, we’re still Toronto the Good when it comes to impulse shopping at 4 a.m.,” said Lorne Bozinoff, Forum president.
A separate Angus Reid survey showed that nearly 60 percent of Canadians are doing their Christmas shopping online this year.
