Toronto Argonauts Day declared by city officials

The Toronto Argonauts recently won the Canadian Football League championship with a win over the Calgary Stampeders, and in celebration, the Grey Cup parade is in full swing.

Individuals in the Toronto area are encouraged to utilize self storage for their sporting goods and equipment, especially for items that are only used for a few months out of the year.

A fleet of 28 pickup trucks and a convertible carrying Argonaut quarterback Ricky Ray began at Union Station and continued up Bay Street towards city hall. City officials declared it Toronto Argonauts Day and the Canada Post even created a stamp for the first Argo Grey Cup victory in eight years.

“It was good for Toronto to win, with fans packing the stadium,” John Caines, Canada Post spokesman, told the Toronto Sun.

Self storage can be a smart way to hang on to valuable items without taking up room in a house or apartment. For Toronto storage solutions, there's no better than Jiffy Self Storage. Those interested in self storage should check out the affordable rates on Jiffy's website, where they can also enter to win a free iPad 3.
