The Beach Fairway Golf Range will close its doors on October 8 after 13 years of business, the Toronto Star reported.

Beach Fairway has paid nearly $100,000 each year for rent and property taxes but Build Toronto, the city's real estate arm, will not renew their their lease.
Holman added that the prices for land are so high that it is highly unlikely another green grass golf green will ever survive in Toronto's core. It was only one of two driving ranges south of Highway 401,
