Home sales on the rise in Canada

According to a recent report from the Canadian Real Estate Association, home sales in Canada increased by 3.6 percent in May on a month-over-month comparison. The report also indicated that home prices increased 3.7 percent a year-over-year comparison, reaching an average of $388,910 in May.

"The increase lifted national activity almost to where it had been just before new mortgage rules came into force last summer, marking the first noteworthy increase in the past nine months," read the CREA report.

As the housing market across Canada continues to show gains, more home sellers will be encouraged to put their homes on the market and more buyers will be looking to make a purchase. For those involved in a home move in the near future, self storage can help streamline the process and ease any anxieties on moving day.

Self storage can be a smart way to hang on to valuable items without taking up room in a house or apartment. For Toronto storage solutions, there's no better than Jiffy Self Storage.
