Canadian executives optimistic about economic gains

A recent survey shows that Canadian executives are optimistic about the state of the economy, both in their own country and the United States.

The survey, commissioned by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, found that optimism has improved compared to the fourth quarter of last year. For example, the last edition of the survey saw 40 percent believing the U.S. would slip back into a recession within six months, but now only 22 percent feel that way.

Within Canada, most feel neutral about the state of the economy, but those describing their outlook as "positive" rose to 32 percent, up from 20 percent the previous quarter.

"Governments are looking at businesses to lead a resurgence in economic growth," said Andrea Bolger, head of business financial services for RBC. "So it’s very encouraging to hear that Canadian business leaders are optimistic, and that they’re moving forward with an expectation that their performance will be stronger over the next 12 months, despite the challenging and uncertain economy.”

Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
