Canadian economy shrank in August

The Canadian economy shrank during August for the first time in six months, according to Statistics Canada, indicating that interest rate increases are evident in the near future.

For the many Toronto area small business owners, cheap storage is available that can be used for office space. Entrepreneurs can distance themselves from the volatile housing market conditions that could be even more costly in the current economy.

The economy decreased by 0.1 percent in August from July, while the Canadian dollar also fell. Mining, oil/gas extraction and manufacturing all fell during August, while economists say the problems are wide ranging.

“There are too many negatives in this report to dismiss the headline weakness as being attributable to just temporary disruptions in some sectors,” Derek Holt and Dov Zigler of Scotia Capital, told the Toronto Sun. .

Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
