Both homes sales and prices jump in Canada

The Canadian Real Estate Association recently reported that prices of existing homes in Canada increased 4.8 percent in June on a year-over-year comparison, while national sales jumped 3.3 percent on a month-over-month comparison.

"Increases in mortgage interest rates likely prompted some buyers with pre-approved mortgages to jump off the sidelines and into the market in June, particularly in larger, more expensive urban markets where affordability is strained," said Gregory Klump, chief economist for CREA.

Those Canadians who have come off the fence or who are considering a home purchase should look to self storage for any help in organizing their new home. Self storage is an inexpensive way for homeowners to hang on to possessions they are not ready to get rid of. It is also encouraged that business owners look into the benefits of self storage as well.

Besides budget priced Toronto self storage spaces, Jiffy Self-Storage is now offering air conditioned Jiffy Workspaces/Offices with internet, light and power for small businesses and for business persons having outgrown their Toronto  small office home office (SOHO). There are a limited number of these workspaces available so contact Jiffy before all the spaces are gone.
