Toronto home prices hit record high in May

The Toronto housing market is among the top in Canada and recent report showed that was no different in May.

According to the Toronto Real Estate Board, home prices hit a record-high $542,174 in the greater Toronto area, up from $514,567 on a year-over-year comparison.

With the robust housing climate, more potential buyers are encouraged to look into how self storage can help make a home move more efficient.

A separate report showed that housing starts were also up in Toronto in May, boding well for those considering buying a home in the near future. According to that report, there were 34,386 housing starts in the greater Toronto area, up from 33,777 on a month-over-month comparison.

Those considering a home purchase should find reputable self storage facilities to streamline the process and ensure items are safe.
