Rapid population growth in GTA

The Greater Toronto Area's population is one of the fastest growing in North America, as experts warn the suburban neighborhoods are set to disappear.

As Toronto's population becomes denser, more people are going to need self storage for their possessions. Cheap Toronto storage is available.

“The handwriting is on the wall,” Ken Greenburg, Toronto architect and urban planner told the Toronto Star. “We must make a shift to a more sustainable paradigm, away from low-density sprawl and excessive reliance on the car … we need denser neighbourhoods.”

The GTA population is projected to increase more than 44 percent to 9.2 million throughout the next 25 years, accounting for half of Ontario's total population, the Toronto Star reported. Subsequently, the quiet neighborhoods outside Toronto will be overrun by the population increase.

Self storage can be a smart way to hang on to valuable items without taking up room in a house or apartment. For Toronto storage solutions, there's no better than Jiffy Self Storage.
