Airfare to Toronto the only major price decrease worldwide

Like a plane in ascent, the price of airfare continues to rise worldwide.

According to a recent study by travel website Kayak.com, June was the most expensive month to travel and airfare increased by up to 25 percent from last year.

"We found that overall airfare increased 17 percent across the board from 2011 to 2012," said Maria Katime, a Kayak spokeswoman.

One popular world destination that witnessed a decrease in airfare, however, was Toronto.

"Toronto, of all the popular destinations that we looked at, was the only one where the airfare decreased," Katime said.

While Kayak did not analyze the reasons for the price increase or decrease, those travelers taking advantage of cheap flights to Toronto should look into a self storage unit for their extended stay, which is a safe and easy system for storing any items during their Toronto stay..

Self storage can be a smart way to hang on to valuable items without taking up room in a house or apartment. For Toronto storage solutions, there's no better than Jiffy Self Storage. Those interested in self storage should check out the affordable rates on Jiffy's website, where they can also enter to win a free iPad 3.
