Masonic Temple could be closed down

The Masonic Temple in Toronto could be closing down after 95 years of concerts and the building might be turned into condominiums.

The building closing down reminds any home owners involved in moves or those who just want to free up some space to consider self storage in the Toronto area.

Bell Media and CTV currently own the building and told the Toronto Sun that as of now, no more production will be done in the building and they are exploring options from where to go from here.

“Staff were notified of it in September," Scott Henderson, Bell Media’s vice-president of communications, told the Toronto Sun. "The future of the temple has yet to be decided. They’re considering all opportunities, including potentially selling it."

Henderson added that the future of the Masonic Temple lies in the hands of realtors at this point.

Self storage can be a smart way to hang on to valuable items without taking up room in a house or apartment. For Toronto storage solutions, there's no better than Jiffy Self Storage. Those interested in self storage should check out the affordable rates on Jiffy's website, where they can also enter to win a free iPad 3.
