Canadian home prices, sales increase in May

According to a recent Canadian Real Estate Association report, Canadian home sales increased 3.6 percent in May on a month-over-month comparison, accounting for the largest gain in more than two years, while prices hit an average of $388,910, up 3.7 percent during the same period of time.

"The increase lifted national activity almost to where it had been just before new mortgage rules came into force last summer, marking the first noteworthy increase in the past nine months," read a statement from the CREA.

As demand for the condo market remains high in Toronto, those in the area moving from an apartment to a condo should look into how self storage can help make a home move as efficient as possible, as well as clear up any much-needed space in a new condo.

Self storage can be a smart way to hang on to valuable items without taking up room in a house or apartment. For Toronto storage solutions, there's no better than Jiffy Self Storage. Those interested in self storage should check out the affordable rates on Jiffy's website, where they can also enter to win a free iPad 3.
