Christmas may be more than four months away, but it's never too early to start thinking about how to deck the halls. Thus, if Torontonians are thinking about heading to the western half of the country for a visit, or to go on vacation, they may want to consider stopping at one of Canada's largest gift shows.
The Canadian Gift and Tableware Association recently announced there will be 530 craft exhibitors at the Alberta Gift Show, which will be held at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Expecting more than 13,000 people to be in attendance, the CGTA says visitors will have the upper hand on decorating, as the latest furnishings will be on display. There will also be a number of innovative products available that may serve as good gift ideas.
The show kicks off on Sunday, August 15, and runs through August 17. It opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. each day, except for the last, as closing time is 3 p.m.
Should Torontonians find some decorative items they like, they may want to think about keeping them away from their families so they can be surprised come Christmastime. Jiffy Self Storage serves as the ideal hiding place.
