Group wants taxes to go toward Toronto transit expansion

The Toronto Region Board of Trade recently proposed four revenue-generating measures to fund the expansion of transit systems, which would help alleviate regional congestion. According to the Globe and Mail, Toronto Region Board of Trade president Carol Wilding said in order to get ahead of their competitors, they need to act.

Businesses that are looking into ways to expand themselves might want to consider purchasing a Toronto business storage space to hold any extra items they are obtaining.

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the board's proposal includes a regional sales tax, a $1 per day parking space levy, a requirement for a 10 cents per liter regional fuel tax and high-occupancy toll lanes. Wilding told the source all of those tools combined would generate about $2 million each year.

Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
