The Toronto Argonauts Grey Cup victory in the Canadian Football league and the celebrations following have boosted small businesses in the Toronto area. More than $100 million was contributed to the local economy and small businesses were the primary benefactors, according the Toronto Star.
Small business owners in the area should make sure they are prepared for the next big event to hit Toronto. Self storage is a good option in cleaning out and office or streamlining business operations to make sure an office is well suited for an influx of people.
One small business that benefited from the Grey Cup victory was the Madison Avenue Boutique Hotel and Pub.
“We were booked quite in advance of the Grey Cup,” Kelly Cane, the Madison’s special events and hotel manager, told the Toronto Star. “We were almost at full occupancy for part of the week, but coming into Thursday we were fully booked for the remainder of the weekend.”
Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
