Funny how fast the holidays have come and gone…Even though Toronto mini storage seemed to be the last thing on everyone’s mind during yearend celebrations, the period between Christmas and New Years was extremely busy with the public needing storage. As the current state of our world continues to evolve in response to the COVID – 19 Pandemic, Jiffy Self-Storage is taking every precaution necessary to do our part in the fight against it. As we are sure most of you are aware, the Government of Ontario is ordering the closure of all non-essential businesses effective Wednesday March 25th 2020. Although Jiffy Self-Storage is not on the list of businesses that can remain open, we will continue to operate, albeit, in a more limited capacity.
Despite the closing of our offices, to conform to City directives, we are very well set up to book a unit for you over the phone Without any in-person interaction. Self-Storage has few common areas and we sanitize surfaces regularly.
The safety of our tenants, staff and everyone who comes and does business here is our highest priority. Therefore, we ask that you please limit your visits, during this mandatory closure, as much as possible and that if you must come to the facility, you do so only if you have no symptoms. Please do not come if you feel sick in any way.
Our staff has been and will continue to Sanitize commonly contacted surfaces several times a day. Remember to perform Social Distancing should you meet someone in a hallway if you come to access your unit. This includes no hand shaking and keeping at least 2 meters from one another. Jiffy Self-Storage will maintain our cleaning staff’s hours and storage managers will maintain a presence on the premises to ensure the facility is safe and secure.
Access to the building and premises for current tenants will continue unimpeded, (7 days a week from 7am to 10pm) However, our Office will be closed to the Public for the duration of the Citywide mandatory closure.
We will continue to promptly answer your calls and emails, but, calls are now considered after hours if they come in before 9am and after 5pm on weekdays. All weekend calls/emails and calls/emails outside of our new office hours will continue to be monitored and responded to on an emergency basis as usual.

Payments can be made by logging in online at www.jiffystorage.com , over the phone during office hours, by mail, or through our drop off slot outside the office.
