Toronto Mayor Rob Ford recently announced that he doesn't have any issues with Porter Airlines' jet service to begin using the runways at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. According to the Toronto Star, Ford said that not only will the runway extension benefit the airline, but it will also create jobs in the city. One of the reasons some community members are concerned about Ford's announcement is that it means that the health of the city's waterfront will be compromised.
Toronto Councillor Adam Vaughan told the source by allowing Porter's jets to use the runways, it will most likely lead to "all jets."
"The minute you open up to Bombardier jets, you open them up to every jet," he said. "That means small corporate jets, which are twice as loud and twice as dirty."
A lot of residents have grown concerned over the past few months, as they are concerned that Toronto is getting too industrialized too soon. However, this could mean new business expansion, which could be a good sign for the city's economy. If a business manager is looking into moving into a bigger space but hasn't been able to yet, it might be a good idea to rent a Toronto document storage space.
Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
