Taylor Swift has been nominated for the 2012 Country Music Award's Entertainer of the Year. Swift looks to take the title once more, after previously winning the award in 2011 and 2009.

"I think that she kind of obviously opened up some eyes to some people and obviously they’re taking notice of that and rewarding her for her contributions to country music over the last year, so I think it’s great," Jason Aldean told the Boston Herald, about Swift getting nominated. .
Swift performed on August 7 at the Stand Up to Cancer telethon, debuting her song Ronan. The song dethroned Swift's We Are Never Getting Back Together for the No. 1 spot on iTunes, which stayed there for three weeks.
Ronan was co-written with a mother who lost her 4-year-old son to cancer.
