After a seemingly warmer past few months, Toronto’s been hit with severe weather warnings that may keep some residents inside. According to CBC News, the city’s temperature dropped significantly from a high of 14 C on Wednesday to -11 C with the wind chill on Thursday morning creating a flash freeze, which iced the roads that had been soaked by Wednesday’s rain.
For residents that will want to be staying inside, they may have some extra movies or sweaters in their Toronto storage space they will want to recover before hibernating for the next few days. A storage unit enables people to keep their items safe without having to compromise the space in their home.
The freezing rain resulted in several school cancelations earlier this week. According to the Toronto Star, there were also some accidents as a result of the severe weather.
“Several multiple-vehicle collisions were reported on Hwy 401 and Hwy 400 on Friday afternoon,” the source reported. “A vehicle rollover also occurred on the ramp from northbound Hurontario Street to eastbound Hwy 407.”
Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What’s more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
