A leading provider of healthcare records announced the launch of a connector between Personal Health Records and Electronic Medical Records on Monday.
MMRGlobal, which owns seven U.S. patents and international patents in Canada, Mexico and Japan, among others, stated the connector technology is the first of its kind to allow a patient access to all medical records collected throughout their life.
For companies headed toward digital records, a self storage unit is an excellent way to store physical backups.
"The new connectivity adds significant value to our suite of Personal Health Record products and services for physicians, hospitals and other EMR users," MMRGlobal CEO Robert H. Lorsch said. "This is the first application of its kind to allow a patient to access medical records collected throughout their life and from multiple physicians and integrate them into their primary care physician's EHR or EMR system."
As the world grows digital, many are turning to online storage for their documents. However, it's always a good idea to have physical backups. Jiffy Self Storage is a leader in Toronto storage and can provide plenty of space for important files and other items.
