In a recent announcement, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario has pledged up to $3.27 million to projects that will help Ontario businesses increase the presence of their high-value exports in the global marketplace.
"The Canadian business environment is robust," said Peter Van Loan. "We have the people, the knowledge, the skills and the entrepreneurial spirit to succeed. The contributions announced today demonstrate our government's commitment to helping small businesses access the skills and capital they need to bring Canadian products and services to new markets around the world."
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce with receive $2.67 million to support its Global Growth Fund, providing small businesses with training and resources as they execute export market access strategies.
