One of Toronto's beloved small business will be shutting down once the owners retire. According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Leonard and Mae Fine are choosing to close the doors of Marni Knits after more that five decades of business because their son is encouraging them to finally retire.
"We've been working so many years, and we enjoy it," Leonard said. "And if you enjoy what you're doing, you don't want to stop."
Mae told the source the couple will continue to stay busy even without running their shop. She added that she might take up volunteering.
If any small businesses owners are in the same position as the Fines or have had to downsize due to economic reasons but want to hold onto their valuables, renting a Toronto business storage space would be a good idea.
