At StartUp, Canada's recent tour in Québec to celebrate and support entrepreneurship across Canada, the group educated event goers on support from government channels, building partnerships between industries and creating a sense of community among entrepreneurs, the Toronto Star Reported.

“StartUp Canada’s tour of Québec showed that there are countless Québecers who have an entrepreneurial spirit and are looking to learn more, meet new people and consider new ideas,” said Noah Redler, a Quebec entrepreneur and member of the StartUp Canada Quebec Provincial Steering Committee. “We heard from people who wanted to reach markets in other provinces, have easier access to business services and financial support, and be able to connect with and learn from mentors in their community.”
A recent poll by Leger Marketing showed that 85 percent of Canadian small business owners felt optimistic about the future success of their business and many of them planned to expand within the next three years.
The StartUp drew 250 member of local small businesses and enterprise support sectors addressing significant challenges facing Canadian entrepreneurs.
