The Pinball Cafe in Parkdale, Ontario, will be closed after just one year of business. The Cafe's owners are claiming the city shut them down over zoning regulations.
Those in need of storage units for vintage and valuable items like pinball machines, in order to free up space in their homes, should consider self storage in the Greater Toronto Area.
"The fact that you can't have more than two pinball machines, I feel, is ridiculous, and I think most people would back me up on that," Jason Hazzard, Pinball Cafe co-owner, told the Toronto Sun. "But that's what the law says."
Local councillor Gord Perks, however, told the Toronto Star that the Pinball Cafe was not ordered to close by the city of Toronto, saying the business never had business license in the first place.
Self storage can be a smart way to hang on to valuable items without taking up room in a house or apartment. For Toronto storage solutions, there's no better than Jiffy Self Storage.
