LinkedIn helps Toronto small business owner

There are many free tools small business owners should be utilizing to streamline their business.

Small business owners in the Toronto area are taking advantage of self storage as a cost-cutting measure. Many businesses are avoiding high rent prices by running their operations out of an inexpensive self storage unit.

Other tools, like LinkedIn, allow small business owners to skip out on advertising costs and speed up sales.

"It’s such a powerful tool,” said Jody Steinhauer, owner of Bargains Group in Toronto, said, in an article appearing in the Toronto Star. "It doesn’t just lead to more sales, it shortens the sales cycle, because deals happen faster."

Steinhauer added that she uses LinkedIn to network, find suppliers, stay up on business trends and hire employees.

Other sites, like Facebook, which announced earlier this year that it has 1 billion users, can also be used to reach more clientele in a cost-efficient way.

Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
