Entrepreneurs urged to consider provincial differences

Entrepreneurs considering expanding or moving their small businesses to other provinces need to conduct extensive research before doing so. A different province has different government programs, credits, incentives and corporate and payroll tax rates.

Small business owners in Ontario should consider Toronto public storage for help with any moves or expansions and could even use the storage space as office space, in order to save on the high costs for office buildings.

"Different provinces have different ways of doing businesses and different marketing approaches that resonate," Shane Lawrence, associate vice president, sales & service, TD Business Banking, told the Toronto Star. "Business owners should factor in the local culture and norms [to] decide whether to customize their sales and marketing approach for the new location."

Lawrence warns that many businesses have fallen because owners believe a new province operates in the same way in which their province of origin operates.

Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
