New resources are now available online for Canadian small businesses, courtesy of the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA).
The federal government has updated its taxation website as it relates to Canadian small businesses, making it easier for owners to access the information they need. The online resources are designed to cut through the red tape and help business owners get answers quickly.
"The CRA has a number of online resources available for businesses to help them manage their accounts and conduct business with the Agency quickly and efficiently," said Finance Minister Gail Shea. "Our Government continues to look for ways to improve these online services and is actively listening to businesses from coast to coast to coast on how to do it."
One of the new resources is the Enquiries Service, which allows business owners with an online account the ability to instantly connect with a CRA representative. There is also a new page available listing some of the more frequently asked questions. Finally, the CRA has extended the hiring tax credit, allowing business owners to create jobs and use it as a tax write-off.
Businesses should make sure they get all taxation questions answered so they can budget more effectively. Another way to save money is to invest in new workspace storage units.
