Baby boomers working through retirement

Baby boomers in Canada are going against the societal grain and deciding to work through their retirement.

“Whether it’s a part-time job to make extra cash or charging ahead with a completely new career, people today are turning the stereotype of retirement on its ear,” Gerald Bramm, co-founder of Gray Matters, a research firm focusing on aging population issues, told the Toronto Star.

Many Canadians are turning to entrepreneurialism during retirement. Small business owners are encouraged to save where they can, whether they plan on retiring soon or not. Self storage is available to maintain business operations and cut down on costs.

While small business owners are encouraged to plan finances for the long term, a boomer starting his or her own business will need finances to get off the ground.
Jiffy offers businesses plenty of options for Toronto storage, whether one needs to store filing cabinets or office supplies. What's more, the company is currently holding a contest for a new iPad 3, which is a device that just about every business person could use to help improve productivity.
